Koreas `linked'

SINGAPORE June 14. A Cold War barrier was crossed today when the two Koreas, North and South, re-connected a railway line which remained cut since the end of the Korean War in 1953. It may be several months before a train service is re-introduced. The sentiments of unity, which marked the reopening ceremony in the demilitarised zone, transcended the U.S.-led tussle with North Korea over its nuclear weapons programme.
