Participating in the `Paksham Marupaksham' programme of Kesari Journalists Trust here today, he said the key accused behind the carnage were yet to be arrested by the police. He said that only an investigation by the CBI would help bring out the conspiracy behind the incident and the hand of terrorist and fundamentalist organisations. However, persons including the Collector were trying to portray it as a `revenge killing'. Mr. Rajasekharan said the hand of IUML leaders up to the district level in the incident was evident. There were grounds for suspicion about the role of the Industries Minister, P.K. Kunhalikutty. He was the Minister in charge of peace efforts following earlier murders at Marad. He had not apologised to the people for its failure to prevent the massacre. He said the Government was not making any sincere efforts to resolve the issues related to the carnage. The VHP would launch the second stage of its agitation against the attitude of the Government with a dharna in front of the Secretariat on Monday.
