Talhan shrine vacated

Jalandhar June 13. The District Administration got the controversial `samadh-shrine-cum-gurdwara' vacated in the curfew-bound Talhan village this evening, 30 hours after it was taken over by a group of women and activists of Damdami Taksal, once headed by the militant leader, Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale. The Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Gupta, told UNI that the shrine would be run by two commitees set up yesterday.
