That way, Commuri Suresh collected nearly Rs. 40 crores. To win the confidence of depositors, Suresh, the `owner' of Vinsri and Sites Infotech firms, redistributed part of the deposits towards payment for the data conversion work. Bringing down curtains on his high-tech cheating, sleuths of Central Crime Station arrested Suresh (50) on Thursday. Four special teams were constituted to arrest other directors and agents of the firm. ``It's a typical cheating case in the name of data entry work," the DCP, CCS, M. Satyanarayana Reddy, said. The police booked cases of cheating and misappropriation of money against Suresh and six others who aided and abetted him. ``Neither there is evidence of Suresh receiving a single paise from overseas as he claimed nor presently there is one rupee balance in any of his bank accounts,'' Mr. Reddy explained. The police are contemplating attachment of his house located in Nagole and office premises of Chandralok Complex in Secunderabad. "Except for the medical transcription work he offered, all other projects offered by him are fake,'' says the Additional Commissioner of Crimes, M. Alagar. A retired employee of SBI, Suresh, established Vinsri Company in 1997 and commenced business of data entry work in January 2002. Suresh stopped paying money to clients from January 2003. The investigation was taken up based on six complaints lodged against the firms.
