TVS Electronics has achieved a higher turnover of Rs. 90.62 crores in the three months ended March 31, 2003 against Rs. 55.19 crores in the same period in 2002. The revenue from products and solution division has grown to Rs. 56.35 crores from Rs. 40.06 crores and electronic manufacturing services to Rs. 34.27 crores from Rs. 15.13 crores. After adjusting inter segment revenue of Rs. 24.12 crores (Rs. 6.50 crores, net sales accounted for Rs. 66.50 crores against Rs. 48.69 crores. After providing interest charges of Rs. 1.92 crores (Rs. 2.34 crores), depreciation of Rs. 96 lakhs (same) and taxation of Rs. 38 lakhs (Rs. 7 lakhs), the profit after tax was higher at Rs. 1.10 crores against Rs. 47 lakhs.
