Inflation slips to 6.17%

New Delhi April 20. The inflation rate slipped to 6.17 per cent in week ended April 5 from the 2-year high of 6.24 per cent a week ago, despite a rise in the prices of fruits and vegetables, edible oil, cement and transport equipment.
