Govindacharya quits politics

Jabalpur April 17. The former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary, K. N. Govindacharya, today announced that he was quitting from the active politics.

``I have taken this decision after two years of intense review and introspection during my two-year study leave from the party. Since the leave ended, I had been seriously thinking on these lines,'' he told reporters here.
