Declaring open on the 16th a Child Art Exhibition at the Besantnagar Theosophical School in Adyar, Madras, Governor Mr. Sri Prakasa referred to the great challenge that the civilization built by the middle classes faced, confronted by the idea of dictatorship by the proletariat.That challenge could be met only by properly understanding it, and by the well-to-do extending to the underprivileged and unprivileged the amenities and opportunities they were privileged to enjoy.
