Mallya joins Janata Party

BANGALORE APRIL 14. Business tycoon, Vijay Mallya, who made a dramatic exit from the Akhila Bharata Janata Dal after his ``isolation'' by the party leadership, today joined the Janata Party, taking over as the party national working president.

``The Janata Party national executive at its recent meeting in Bangalore offered the post and I have conveyed my formal acceptance," Mr. Mallya told PTI.
