Blast near U.S. Embassy

KABUL APRIL 13. A large explosion was heard in east Kabul, near the U.S. Embassy late on Sunday night. Emergency vehicles and military trucks were seen rushing to the blast scene moments after the explosion.

There were no immediate reports of casualties.

The blast comes just two weeks after a rocket attack on the peacekeeping International Security Assistance Force headquarters.
