'Beijing in SARS list'

Beijing April 13. The World Health Organisation (WHO) today put the Chinese Government on notice by adding Beijing to the list of cities affected by SARS.

China has been claiming that the outbreak of the killer disease has been ``effectively contained'' on the mainland.
