Resignation accepted

NEW DELHI APRIL 11. The resignation of the Delhi High Court judge, Shameet Mukherjee, in the wake of the DDA scam has been accepted despite a last-ditch effort by him to avert it. The resignation, which has been sent from the Rashtrapati Bhavan to the Law Ministry, was only to be notified by the Government, official sources said today.
