Bopanna in last eight

NEW DELHI APRIL 10. Rohan Bopanna defeated wild card entrant, the 654th ranked Alexander Jakupovic of Greece 6-7 (4-7), 7-6 (7-4), 6-1 in the pre-quarterfinals of the $ 15,000 ITF Futures tennis tournament in Syros, Greece, on Thursday.

The 348th ranked Bopanna was down a break in the second set after losing the first, but reorganised his game to overpower the Greek in the third set.

In the quarterfinals, Bopanna will take on the 451st ranked Darko Madjarovski of Serbia, who had beaten the fourth-seeded Uros Vico of Italy in the first round.
