No defeat for our leader: Paneerselvam

Chennai April 10. As the QMC crisis and the Opposition besieged the AIADMK Government, the former Chief Minister and present PWD Minister, O. Paneerselvam, today came up with words of reassurance for his "Puratchi Thalaivi".

"There is no defeat, no defeat and never any failure for Puratchi Thalaivi," he thundered in the State Assembly, even as she entered the House to listen to his reply to the debate on the Revenue budget.

An ordinary human would get bogged down by challenges, but an "extraordinary leader" would vanquish challenges with courage and valour. "These extraordinary qualities are the natural endowments of our Puratchi Thalaivi, who is the pearl of humanity,'' he said, amid loud thumping of desks by the ruling party MLAs. And, Ms. Jayalalithaa heard it all with smiles.
