According to police, about 10 armed naxalites, six of them wearing olive-green uniforms, reached the railway station at 4.45 am. While four of them planted bombs inside the counter, six of them kept guard outside. Though they ignited all the bombs, some of them did not go off. A fan and a phone suffered damage in the blast and the wall of the counter room suffered cracks. Even as they were trying to ignite the other bombs once again, people of the village began gathering the place. On seeing them, the naxalites went away into the adjoining farm fields. Railway officials and RPF men also visited the damaged station. Our Mahabubnagar Correspondent adds: Naxalites of the People's War blasted the office of the accounts officer, APTransco, at Domalapenta of Amarabad mandal last night. According to information reaching here, around 11 p.m. 10 armed naxalites said to be members of the Upper Plateau dalam planted dynamites and blasted the office. The office building suffered partial damage.
