NEW DELHI April 2. The Congress today demanded that the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, make public his stand on the recent ruling of the Supreme Court on Ayodhya. It also urged the Government to ensure that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bajrang Dal do not breach the law. The Congress spokesman, Anand Sharma, also referred to the summons issued to the Deputy Prime Minister, Advani, the Union Human Resource Development Minister, Murli Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharti and other accused in the Babri Masjid demolition. ``It is the first time that the Home Minister of a country will appear as an accused in a criminal case,'' Mr. Sharma said. He lamented the fact that those vested with important responsibilities in the Government were appearing as accused in criminal cases. ``We didn't know that when the BJP spoke of being a party with a difference it actually meant all this,'' Mr. Sharma said.
