Tendulkar, the top-scorer at the World Cup with a record 673 runs, told pressmen here that his finger needed to be operated upon and would keep him out of action for two months. The master batsman, who attended a felicitation function at the Sahara Lake City along with the rest of the World Cup squad, has already requested the Cricket Board not to pick him for the Dhaka tournament starting on April 11.
