Jeev to figure in SRF matchplay

NEW DELHI APRIL 2. European PGA Tour regular Jeev Milkha Singh will play in the Rs. 10 lakh SRF all-India matchplay golf tournament, his first on the Indian domestic tour in more than a year.

Jeev has been accorded special exemption by the sponsors to play in the event to be played at the Delhi Golf Club course from April 8 to 12. A strong field of 64 players will feature in the 23rd and penultimate leg of the Indian PGA Golf Tour's 2003-03 season.

The SRF all-India matchplay, the oldest running event on the Tour, offers Rs. 1,75,000 as winners' cheque while the runner-up stands to gain Rs. 1,00,000.
