Bandh turns violent

By K. Balchand

PATNA April 1. The banned naxalite organisations, MCC(I) and PWG, resorted to violence during a day-long bandh in Bihar and Jharkhand, killing one person, injuring another and blowing up a railway station today. The bandh was primarily to protest against the alleged brutality of Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal police on their supporters.
