Usha Thorat takes over as RBI ED

MUMBAI APRIL 1 . Usha Thorat today took over as executive director of the Reserve Bank of India. She was earlier chief general manager in charge of the internal debt management cell, the RBI said in release here today. According to sources, apart from internal debt management cell, Ms. Thorat would look after the rural banking and market department and two other internal departments. — PTI
