General Motors sales increase
General Motors India's sales in March have increased by 8.19 per cent to 1,479 units from 1,367 units in the same month last year. It included 1,147 units of the mid-size car Opel Corsa, 205 units of mid-size sedan Opel Astra and 75 units of the luxury car Opel Vectra.
The company also sold 52 units of the newly launched sport-utility-vehicle Chevrolet Forester during the month, says company release. Sales in March were higher by 185 per cent as compared to 518 units sold in February this year.
