Kolathur Mani allowed to go to native village

By Our Staff Correspondent

MYSORE April 1. The Tamil activist, Kolathur Mani, was on Tuesday granted permission to go out of the jurisdiction of the Mysore court for 15 days.

Mani's lawyer, Prakash, told The Hindu that the court, while granting him bail, had laid a condition that he should not leave the court's jurisdiction without permission. "He wanted to go to his native village, Kolathur, in Tamil Nadu, which is out of the court's jurisdiction, for personal reasons. He appeared before the court seeking relaxation of the condition.''
