Brij Mohan passes away

NEW DELHI MARCH 22. The former president of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee, Brij Mohan, died here today. He was 75.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter.

Mr.Brij Mohan, who was the DPCC chief from 1961 to 1963, was also the Leader of the House and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi besides being the Chairman of Super Bazar.

He was cremated this afternoon at Nigambodh Ghat here where several senior Congress leaders, including the Delhi Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit, the DPCC president, Subhash Chopra, the Delhi Assembly Speaker, Prem Singh, Congress MLAs and councillors, were present.
