Century dedicated to Krishanu Dey

Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has dedicated his century against Kenya to his boyhood soccer idol and former India captain Krishanu Dey who died of heart ailment on Thursday.

During his school days in early eighties Sourav, beside playing football himself, was also a regular visitor to the Kolkata Maidan to watch Krishanu, his favourite ball player in the mould of famous soccer stars Ahmed Khan and Chuni Goswami, in action.

According to reports, Sourav after hearing the sad demise of Krishanu conveyed his heartfelt condolence to Krishanu's bereaved family.
