Examinations not affected

By Our Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM March 11. The dawn to dusk `hartal' observed today by the pro- Left organisations demanding a judicial inquiry into the Muthanga incidents, did not affect the conduct of the CBSE, ICSE and ISC examinations in the district.

The school authorities and parents of children heaved a sigh of relief today, after days of anxiety. The assurance given by the Left leaders notwithstanding, they would not believe that the examinations could go on smoothly and without hindrance of any kind.

Since the KSRTC buses were off the roads during the hartal period, parents had to make their own arrangements to take their children to the schools.
