Infertility centre's claim

HYDERABAD March 11. A local infertility centre has claimed to have achieved a milestone of delivering 1,000 babies to infertile couples during the last five years.

The executive director of the Kiran Infertility Centre Private Limited, Kiran D. Sekhar, and her husband, Nagesh Sekhar, told mediapersons here on Tuesday that various assisted reproductive technology procedures like Uterine Insemination (IUI), Invitro Fertilisation (test tube baby), Intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), ovum donation (OD), blastocyst culture (day 5 embryo transfer to uterus) were followed in the centre with state-of-art equipment to treat infertile couples.

The clinic proposed to organise a get-together of all such babies in different age groups during April first week.
