Iraq threatens U.S. flights

WASHINGTON MARCH 11. Iraq forced the suspension of U.S. surveillance flights, threatening one of two planes already in the air, a senior U.S. official said today.

The Iraqi threat was fresh evidence of Baghdad's unwillingness to cooperate with U.N. inspectors, another U.S. official said. Two American U-2 planes were already in the air.
