PM puts off foreign trip

NEW DELHI March 11. The Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, has put off his plans to travel to Central Asia and Syria in view of the prevailing international situation. The visits had not been announced officially. Mr. Vajpayee was planning to travel abroad towards the end of the month, but the current uncertainties over Iraq require his presence in the country.
