Man fatally knocked by Blueline bus

NEW DELHI MARCH 3. A 28-year-old man was killed when a Blueline knocked him down near Regal Cinema at Connaught Place in New Delhi yesterday.

According to the police, Paras Ram, a resident of Vishwas Park in Uttam Nagar, was crossing the road when he was knocked by bus, plying on route No. 166 from Palika Kendra to Shalimar Bagh, around 1-20 p.m. He died on the spot.

A case of causing death due to rash and negligent driving has been registered at Connaught Place police station and the driver, Mahavir Singh, a resident of Moti Bagh, has been arrested.
