IPS top brass shuffled

HYDERABAD March. 3. The Government on Monday transferred 14 IPS officers and gave new postings, which included two DCPs to Hyderabad and three DCPs to newly the carved out Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.

The Director of Prohibition and Excise (Enforcement), C.V. Narsaiah, is posted as Eluru range DIG replacing M. Malakondaiah. This cancelled earlier order of transferring and posting of the DIG (Andhra Pradesh Police Academy), S. Umapathy, as DIG, Eluru range.

The DIG (CID), M. Punna Rao, is transferred and posted as Director of Prohibition and Excise (Enforcement). The Anantapur SP, Anjana Sinha, is posted as the DCP (West) of Hyderabad in the place of Umesh Shroff. The Ranga Reddy SP, M.V. Ramachandra Raju, is posted as the DCP (North) of Hyderabad in the place of A.B. Venkateswara Rao.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau Joint Director, B.L. Sujatha Rao and the SPs of Krishna and West Godavari districts, Sandeep Shandilya and Kripanand Tripathi Ujela are posted as the DCPs, Crimes, Traffic and Law and Order, respectively of Cyberabad. The Greyhounds Group Commander, G. Suryaprakash Rao, is posted as the Ranga Reddy SP.

The Hyderabad DCP (Traffic-2), K. Laxman Mohan, is posted as Krishna district SP. The APSP first battalion Commandant, Charu Sinha is posted as Prakasam district SP replacing Kumar Vishwajeet. The APSP second battalion Commandant, Anil Kumar is posted as Anantapur district SP.

The Visakhapatnam SP (Circar Zone), Bhavana Saxena, is posted as West Godavari district SP. On transfer, Kumar Vishwajeet is posted as the APSP second battalion Kurnool Commandant. The ACB Joint Director, Malla Reddy, was transferred and posted as Greyhounds Group Commander (Hyderabad).
