Ex-Tata Finance MD held

New Delhi Feb. 25. A day after the rejection of his anticipatory bail petition by the Delhi High Court, the Delhi police today arrested D. S. Pendse, former Managing Director of Tata Finance Limited (TFL) here, for his alleged involvement in ``misappropriation'' of at least Rs. 2 crores of the company's funds.

The Mumbai-based Mr. Pendse was nabbed at Tilak Marg near Patiala House courts at around noon, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch), Dinesh Bhatt, told PTI. He will be produced in a court here tomorrow.
