General Omar Bradley, Chairman, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, warned against falling for a slogan current in America: "We Are Already in the Third World War." Gen. Bradley said, "The phrase is fallacious, and we should not become its victims. I have absolute faith that the U.S. can prove to its allies that we are not a precipitate, headstrong nation."
