HARARE FEB. 18. Concerned at the angry reaction of fans back home, the Indian cricket team management sought refuge behind Sachin Tendulkar, who made a passionate plea to supporters not to indulge in activities that would harm the interests of the team in general. "This is to all the well-wishers in India. I am here on behalf of the Indian team to make a statement we ourselves are disappointed with the kind of performance we all have put up. And I also understand the disappointment you've gone through. I'm just here to assure all of you that we'll be fighting till the last ball is bowled. So please continue to support us as you have done in the past, which will surely help us."
