"Since we do not have any faith in any Central or Gujarat agency we are ready to face the inquiry by a sitting or retired Supreme Court Judge,'' the PWD Minister, Partap Singh Bajwa, and the Revenue Minister, Amarjeet Singh Samre, told a joint press conference here, a day after the Gujarat Minister of State for Home, Amit Shah, alleged their involvement in a sex racket during Gujarat elections. The two also reiterated their decision to file civil and criminal defamation suits for damages of Rs. 100 crores against Mr. Shah, ``who made out the conspiracy at the behest of Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who would be made a party in the case". Mr. Bajwa and Mr. Samre charged the BJP with having come out with a "well-planned conspiracy'' over two months after the campaign ended in Gujarat. "Since the BJP could not politically face the corruption exposures of our party against Himachal Chief Minister, Prem Kumar Dhumal, it came out with this so-called exposure in confusion and fear," the two added Mr. Bajwa said there was not even an `iota of truth" in the allegation against him and Samra.
