Vandana in final

COLOMBO FEB. 13. Second-seeded Vandana Murali made it to the final in the girls' section with a 7-5, 6-0 victory over compatriot G.K. Shweta in the Grade-IV ITF junior tennis tournament here.

Among the boys, top-seeded Chatwinder Singh made the semifinals with a 6-1, 1-6, 6-2 victory over Victor Schmid of Germany. Sumit Prakash Gupta lost in the quarterfinals to second-seeded Tsubasa Morizane of Japan.
