PSC told to extend lists' validity

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Feb. 13. The Chief Minister, A.K. Antony, has said that the Public Service Commission (PSC) had been told to extend the validity of the rank lists slated to expire in March.

Replying to a submission by V.K. Chandran (CPI-M) in the Assembly today, Mr. Antony said the PSC had, in principle, agreed to the Government request.

Phone tariff

Replying to a submission by A.C. Shanmughadas (NCP), the Chief Minister said the Government would communicate to the Centre the general complaint that the hike in telephone rentals and tariff was unbearable.
