Bank of Bahrain enters retail banking

HYDERABAD: Bank of Bahrain has entered retail banking in India in order to expand its business operations. It is in the process of changing its core banking software in order to offer new products and enhance its retail banking capabilities. The new software is expected to go live by the month-end, says a release. At a global level, the bank announced it posted a profit of BD (Bahrain Dirham) 20 Million ($53 million).
