COLOMBO. FEB. 12. The Chief of Air Staff, S. Krishnaswamy, arrived here today on a four-day official visit, which will take him to important air bases across the island-nation. The visit, described as a routine one, is the first by Air Chief Marshal Krishnaswamy since he took charge on December 31, 2001. He is scheduled to visit Anuradhapura, Trincomalee and Kandy. The last time an Indian air chief had visited Sri Lanka was in May 2000, by the then IAF head, A.Y. Tipnis.
