Sonali, Niroshita post upset wins

MUMBAI FEB. 12. Maharashtra's Sonali Sanap and Andhra Pradesh's M. Niroshita hogged the limelight with come-from-behind victories on the second day of the Rs 1.5 lakh South African Airways all-India AITA Super Series junior tennis tournament.

Sonali got past third-seeded Varsha Shivshankar (Karnataka) after dropping the first game to win the next two in a girls' under-18 pre-quarterfinals match on Wednesday at the Garden Tennis Academy courts.

Niroshita overcame a 0-6 first set loss to beat fifth-seeded Daksha Mulay (Maharashtra) in three sets.
