Announcing this at Vazhuthalampallam near here today, the organiser, R. Ramagopalan, said the AIADMK deserved to win the byelection for enacting the anti-conversion act, condemning the Godhra carnage, in which innocent Hindus were burnt alive, introducing the Annadanam scheme and for banning lotteries. His organisation would campaign actively and ensure the defeat of the Congress, which was a `traitor' as it let down Hindus. It's policies were hollow as they failed to take into account the feelings and aspirations of Hindus.
