Announcing the schedule at a press conference here on Friday, the Technical Education Minister, Nerella Anjaneyulu, said the last date for submission of application forms with late fee of Rs. 500 at EAMCET convener's office was March 10 and with a late fee of Rs. 1,000 was March 15. The issue of hall tickets would be done at all Regional Centres from April 3 to April 7. The applications would be made available at all the Head Post Offices in the State and also at all the e-Seva centres in the City. About 2 lakh students are expected to take part in the test.Mr.Anjaneyulu said the EAMCET Committee fixed the dates after taking into account the dates of important Common Entrance Tests held in other States and also other important agencies like CBSE, JEE and KCET. He said there was no addition to the regional centres this time and they would remain at 18. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Vice-Chancellor, Y.Venkatrami Reddy, said the test would be of 160 marks with 80 marks earmarked for Mathematics, 40 marks each for Physics and Chemistry in the Engineering stream and 40 marks each for Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry in the Medical stream. For the first time, the question paper would also test the analytical abilities of the aspirants.
