In a statement here today, the CPI(ML) Red Flag State secretary, P.C. Unnichekkan, reminded the LDF that it would be able to fight the UDF's `anti-people' policies only by taking a correct stand on globalisation policies. The prerequisite for this is admission of its mistakes by the LDF, he added. The CPI(ML) Red Flag and the progressive democratic forces had pointed out the `anti-people' character of the Plachimada bottling plant of Coca-Cola and the Kochi Industrial Water Supply Scheme right when these were taken up by the LDF Government. Later, the party had also pointed out that the LDF's electoral rout was not only due to the coming together of communal and casteist forces, but also because of the `anti-people' policies initiated by it.
