Ashok Leyland Jan sales up 49.3 p.c.

NEW DELHI: Ashok Leyland has reported a 49.3 per cent growth in sales in January at 3,531 units against 2,364 units last year. Domestic sales went up by 51.6 per cent to 3,355 units while exports surged by 15.7 per cent to 176 units during the month, a company statement said here. The company sold 3,145 vehicles in December 2002.
