The two-month long session will provide the services of 33 principals and counsellors from different parts of the country to students free of cost. Usually held in the month of March, the CBSE has this year decided to begin the sessions a month early to benefit students while they are still preparing for the examinations and not busy giving it. Apart from the tele-counselling here, four centres have also been opened in Kuwait, Muscat, Doha-Qatar and Dubai. The Board has for the first time this year, also made attempts to reach out to Government School students for sharing pre-board counselling and provide pre-board counselling. The Board also launched a handbook - "Knowing Children Better'' for school teachers a couple of weeks ago to help them understand the common change in behaviour and the ways to deal with them.
