Hiten Dalal convicted

Mumbai Jan. 31. A special court today convicted tainted stock broker, Hiten Dalal, and three others, sentencing them to seven years' rigorous imprisonment for allegedly defrauding the Canbank Mutual Fund to the tune of Rs. 103 crores. The others convicted include A. D. Narrotam, stock broker, and bank officials, S. S. Raje and Anil Narichania. — PTI
