Pondy AIADMK MLAs court arrest

Pondicherry Jan. 31. Volunteers of the AIADMK and the Puratchi Thalaivi Peravai today resorted to road roko on Marai Malai Adigal Salai to urge the Administration to take steps to eradicate mosquitoes in Pondicherry.

The two AIADMK legislators, A. Anbalagan, and A. Kasilingam, and also members of different wings of the party, including the women and industrial workers, were among those who courted arrest.

Mr. Anbalagan also urged the Government to take steps to desilt the Uppanar Canal.
