Letters to the Editor
Sir, Your Editorial, "Small investors and stock market" (Jan. 22), commending the PM's exhortation to the investors to return to the stock market, is informative and instructive. Today, the small investor is at the crossroads, after being cheated by NBFCs and hurt by the UTI fiasco. Interest cuts on deposits and provident funds have narrowed down his options and the share market may appear attractive. But where high-return-high-risk syndrome is at play, the small investor has to exercise caution.
