Sir, Your Editorial, "Reform-oriented changes'' (Jan. 31) brings out the compulsions of the Prime Minister and the BJP in the context of "Poll Vision 2003-2004" adopted by the party at its Goa meet. The significant outcome of the latest Cabinet reshuffle is that the PM has taken a more assertive stand on the ongoing economic and divestment policies, as evidenced by the entrusting of the additional charge of Information Technology with Arun Shourie. Equally significant is the exit of Jana Krishnamurthi for his `refusal to take up any other ministry.'
