VHR's remarks on Togadia condemned

By Our Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD Jan. 20. The city unit of Bajrang Dal has condemned the statement of the AICC secretary, V. Hanumantha Rao, alleging the VHP leader, Praveen Togadia, was Pakistani agent.

A press release issued by the city convener, G. Ramesh, accused the Congress leader of making such `silly and cheap statements' to appease Muslims. Challenging the view that politics and religion were not connected, he asked Mr. Rao why the AICC president, Sonia Gandhi, performed puja in a temple before kicking off her party's poll campaign in Gujarat.
