Urdu Academy's calendar released

HYDERABAD Jan. 17. The calendar of Urdu Academy for the year 2003, which depicts the events slated for the year, was released by the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, at his chambers in the Secretariat here on Friday.

According to a press release, the Home Minister, T. Devender Goud, the Minister for Higher Education, N. Mohd. Farooq, the Minister for Law, P. Chandra Sekhar, the Minister for Minor Irrigation, K. Prabhakar, the Minister for Sports, P. Ramulu, were present.

Takes charge

B. Narayana, finance officer of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, has taken charge of Registrar from Sultan Lateef and will take care of both offices until further notice, according to the university press release.
